Senior living communities provide a unique living arrangement to a population in need. People challenged with the activities of daily living or in declining health can receive needed support and some level of medical supervision. These communities offer the comforts of home and ready-made social opportunities. They also present a challenge to many new residents – living in less space.

Personalize the floor plan
The floor plan is undoubtedly the most important tool in the moving-to-a-senior-living-community tool box.
After 40 years in their beautiful 5000+ square foot home, Aaron and Irma realized that it no longer suited their lifestyle. While filled with the memories of raising a family and hosting many gatherings, as well as gorgeous furnishings, thanks to Irma’s instinctive and studied eye as an interior designer, Aaron said, “Two people just don’t need multiple bedrooms and living areas. When we took a good look at it, we realized we were really only using about a third of the house.”
